又名胺霉素。

为链霉菌Streptom sp产生的抗生素。

无色针状结晶。熔点192℃。旋光度+19.2°(c=1.2，乙醇)。易溶于多种有机溶剂，不溶于水。

本品对酵母菌、真菌及植物真菌有作用，但对细菌无效。
