水县，旧县名。

南梁陈代时期（557～589），改攸县称攸水县（今湖南攸县）。属湘东郡。隋初，攸水县并入湘潭县，属衡山郡。唐武德四年（621），设南云州，南云州治所设在原攸水县县治。贞观元年（627），废南云州，原南云州五县合并为攸县，属衡州衡阳郡。
