金镇，沂国公金朝兴子，巢人。嗣封宣德侯。二十三年追坐朝兴胡惟庸党，降镇平坝卫指挥使。

从征有功，进都指挥使。其后世袭卫指挥使。嘉靖元年，命立傅友德、梅思祖及朝兴庙于云南省，额曰“报功”。
