鲁歌先生长期从事教学工作，是我国著名学者，在古代文学和诗词研究等领域造诣精深，尤其是对《毛泽东诗词》的研究享誉国内外。鲁歌先生1961年主动要求支援边疆，到内蒙古大学中文系任教。
