台东镇位于东台市西北部，通榆河东岸，东蹲公里北侧。

台东镇面积74平方公里。人口2.5万。下辖27个村委会。民国三十七年设镇。1957年设城北乡。1958年改设城东公社。1983年复置城东镇。1994年建台东镇。以位于台城街道东部得名。
