原属山东省潍坊市辖区内的临朐县龙岗镇，现属临朐县东城街道。位于临朐县北部，南部靠近临朐县城，北与青州市黄楼街道接壤，东临长春－深圳高速公路，西靠开发区，因村东有一条天然深沟得名。
