北口头村位于桥头镇人民政府驻地西北偏北3公里处，有332人，均为汉族，耕地面积960亩。

老盐河上的一颗明珠-北口头紧靠老盐河北岸。地势平坦，为轻壤土质。为北口头村民委员会驻地。该村建于清朝乾隆，因位于老盐河北岸一渡口处，借此取名北口头。
