双江村属娄星区双江乡，因有两条清澈的河水流经村庄的两旁而得名。

基本介绍

双江村总面积2.69平方公里，位于娄星区最北端，有林地1900多亩，素有娄底市“绿色后花园”之称。村有水田438亩，旱土279亩，山林193.05亩，退耕还林530亩，全村现有人口1600多人，党员24名，辖13个村民小组，348户。
